Let’s Talk

In our complimentary discovery call, we’ll get acquainted and learn more about each other. We’ll discuss the planning process and the aspirations and interests you have for a successful trip. Depending on the nature and complexity of your journey, you’ll receive a quotation for the design fee. These fees vary based on several factors, which we can review during our consultation. There are instances where a design fee may not be necessary. If we both agree that Spediro is the ideal choice for turning your travel dreams into reality, we’ll secure a spot in the design schedule.

Design and Refine

You become an official Spediro client as soon as the design fee is settled. Then, we can dive into the exciting part! We’ll start with a deep dive design call with you and develop a custom itinerary, based on your own travel wants, needs, and budget. You’ll receive 1-2 itinerary options to start. Then, we’ll work together to refine your itinerary until it fits you and/or your group’s wishlist. Our proposals are always customizable, and we offer 3 complimentary rounds of revisions to ensure that everything is just right.

Book It!

We’ll take care of all the logistics for your journey, including flights and trains, accommodations, car rentals, transfers, guided tours, and more. A few months before your trip, we’ll add the final touches to your itinerary with dining reservations, spa appointments, theater tickets, and more— those extras that elevate your vacation from ‘that was fun’ to ‘wow’! We’ll reach out regularly before you take off to share insider travel info, deposit and payment deadlines and other important travel details so you’re fully prepared. Your final itinerary will have every trip detail in an easy-to-use mobile app.

You’ll have our expert recommendations that are unique to you on what to see and do and where to dine, to truly experience the authenticity of your destination. Do you plan other trips besides group travel?

Absolutely! We’re group travel specialists, but we also work with couples, individuals, and families to design custom escapes. In many cases, clients who have traveled on a group trip will return to have us plan their individual travel experiences—and we’d love to do the same for you!

Do you charge a fee for your travel design services?

Generally, yes. Our design process is intended to provide you with a one-of-a-kind trip designed specifically for you. While we have established relationships with the world's best accommodations, tour companies, and travel suppliers, we use these relationships to benefit you, not suppliers, creating a win/win situation for all. The design fee ensures our time and effort are compensated and allows us to add value to your unique itinerary. Our design fee varies depending on the complexity and length of your trip, and the number of travelers. We’ll discuss these with you in our complimentary consultation call.

However, we generally do not charge a design fee for hotel-only bookings if you have a specific stay in mind. Reach out to us if you’re simply looking to take advantage of our competitive hotel rates and possible perks.

Do I really need trip protection?

Investing in travel protection, or trip insurance, gives you peace of mind and will save you money if the unexpected happens. It’s worth looking into and is sometimes a necessity. When traveling out of the country, it’s essential to understand what your primary health insurance will and will not cover. Many credit cards carry travel benefits, but the coverage is often limited. It’s always recommended to get a quote from a third-party insurance provider to compare coverage benefits.
